Services may be provided by Tri-State Divorce Companion LLC or by an approved Tri-State Divorce Companion operating within the Company’s established service boundaries.

Availability of any particular service, Companion, location, date, or time is not guaranteed.

2. Non-Legal and Non-Clinical Service Boundary

Tri-State Divorce Companion LLC provides non-legal support only. We do not provide legal advice, legal representation, legal document preparation, therapy, counseling, mediation, financial advice, tax advice, or emergency services. Clients remain responsible for their own legal decisions, documents, filings, deadlines, appointments, financial decisions, and safety decisions.

Tri-State Divorce Companion LLC does not determine a client’s legal rights or obligations, recommend legal strategies or outcomes, interpret laws or court orders, select or complete legal forms, prepare or review legal documents, represent clients in court, negotiate legal matters for clients, or speak on behalf of clients concerning legal matters.

Clients who need legal advice, legal representation, legal document assistance, therapy, counseling, financial advice, tax advice, mediation, or another licensed professional service should contact an appropriately qualified professional.

3. No Professional Relationship

Use of this website, submission of a form, participation in a consultation, purchase of a service, or communication with Tri-State Divorce Companion LLC does not create an attorney-client, therapist-client, counselor-client, mediator-client, financial-advisor-client, tax-professional-client, or other licensed professional relationship.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients should seek assistance from an appropriately licensed or qualified professional whenever a matter falls outside Tri-State Divorce Companion LLC’s service boundaries.

5. Booking and Scheduling

Appointments and services may be requested or booked through the Tri-State Divorce Companion LLC website or another Company-approved scheduling process.

A requested appointment is not guaranteed until it has been accepted or confirmed through the applicable booking process.

Clients are responsible for reviewing the information presented when booking, including the service selected, date, time, location, virtual meeting information, preparation instructions, price, and any applicable scheduling terms.

Availability may vary based on service type, location, courthouse area, Companion availability, travel considerations, scheduling capacity, and other operational factors.

6. Payments

Prices, payment requirements, accepted payment methods, and any applicable package or service terms will be presented at the time of booking or purchase.

By completing a purchase, the client agrees to the pricing and payment terms presented and accepted at that time.

Tri-State Divorce Companion LLC may change pricing for future services or packages. Changes to future pricing do not alter the terms of a previously completed purchase except as provided in the terms applicable to that purchase or as otherwise permitted by law.

Clients should review all payment information before completing a transaction.

7. Rescheduling, Cancellation, and Refunds

Any rescheduling, cancellation, refund, missed-appointment, late-arrival, or related terms applicable to a service will be presented to the client through the applicable booking, checkout, service agreement, or purchase process.

By booking or purchasing a service, the client agrees to the terms presented and accepted at that time.

Tri-State Divorce Companion LLC may reschedule or cancel a service when reasonably necessary because of availability, safety concerns, circumstances outside the Company’s control, service-boundary concerns, or other operational reasons. 9. Courthouse Preparation and Accompaniment

Courthouse accompaniment is a non-legal support service.

A Companion may provide calm presence, grounding, practical organization, navigation, waiting-room support, scheduling or logistical support, and other approved non-legal assistance.

A Companion does not speak on behalf of a client, communicate a client’s legal position to court staff or other parties, represent a client, provide legal advice, interpret legal documents or court instructions, prepare legal documents, interfere with court proceedings, or act as an attorney, mediator, court official, therapist, or other licensed professional.

Clients remain responsible for following courthouse rules, security procedures, filing requirements, deadlines, and instructions provided by appropriate court personnel or licensed professionals.

10. Emergencies, Safety, and Crisis Situations

Tri-State Divorce Companion LLC does not provide emergency services, crisis intervention, emergency safety services, therapy, counseling, medical care, or mental health treatment.

If you are in immediate danger or experiencing an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency services immediately.

Do not rely on the Tri-State Divorce Companion LLC website, booking system, forms, email, text messaging, or a Companion for emergency response.

Tri-State Divorce Companion LLC may pause, decline, or discontinue a service when immediate safety needs or circumstances outside the Company’s non-legal support role require assistance from emergency services or another appropriate professional.

11. Service Boundaries and Right to Decline or Pause Services

Tri-State Divorce Companion LLC may decline, pause, limit, or discontinue a requested service when the requested assistance falls outside the Company’s approved non-legal and non-clinical role, creates a safety or privacy concern, involves inappropriate conduct, cannot reasonably be provided as requested, or otherwise does not fit the services offered by the Company.

A decision to decline or pause support is not a legal determination regarding the client’s case or circumstances.

When appropriate, clients may be encouraged to contact a licensed attorney, court-approved resource, licensed professional, emergency service, or another suitable resource.

12. Website and Account Use

You agree not to misuse this website or any private client, Companion, booking, payment, or Company system.

You may not knowingly submit false information, attempt to gain unauthorized access to restricted areas, interfere with website functionality, impersonate another person, misuse Company materials, or use Company systems for unlawful purposes.

Certain pages, documents, forms, training materials, or resources may be restricted to approved clients, Companions, contractors, or other authorized users.

Access to a private area does not give permission to copy, distribute, publish, share, or misuse confidential Company or client information.

13. Forms, Communications, and Submitted Information

When submitting information to Tri-State Divorce Companion LLC, you agree to provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Submitting an inquiry, intake form, application, verification, or other form does not guarantee acceptance for services, guarantee a particular Companion, or require Tri-State Divorce Companion LLC to enter into or continue a service relationship.

Information submitted through Company systems will be handled according to the Company’s applicable Privacy Policy and operational procedures.

Clients should not use ordinary website forms, email, or text messaging to report emergencies requiring immediate assistance.

14. Intellectual Property and Company Materials

16. Limitation of Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Tri-State Divorce Companion LLC is not responsible for legal outcomes, court rulings, missed legal deadlines, filing errors, decisions made by the client, actions or omissions of third parties, or consequences arising from a client’s failure to obtain appropriate professional advice.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit a right or responsibility that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.

17. Privacy

Use of the website and Company services is also subject to the Tri-State Divorce Companion LLC Privacy Policy.
